Fallout: Extended Dialogue Interface
The Fallout: Extended Dialogue Interface (XDI) is a community framework that is designed to remove the four-answer limitation on dialogue and allow for any number of player responses. It also allows for the creation of new dialogue experiences that can be tailored to the players' preferences and desires.
In the vanilla game, player dialogue requires exactly four response options. But in reality, this is not always the most convenient or informative way to get the information that the player is looking for. Sometimes, it is not even possible to give the player the correct information in the first place. And even if it is, there is still the possibility that the player will not understand the information or will not be able to use it in the right way.
XDI provides a way to solve all of these problems.
The first thing that you need to know about XDI is that it is a community framework. It is not a game engine. It is a way to improve and customize the gameplay experience of the players. It is designed to be compatible with all of the games that use the vanilla dialogue system.
The second thing is that XDI is not limited to the number of options that the player can have in a single dialogue. The player can have as many options as he or she wishes.
